BUILDING EXTENSION 

23^rd September 2008

We commenced our extension work on the 19^th May and we hope to be completed by the end of December.

In the interim however, there will inevitably be some disruption to our routines and some of the services we can offer, but we will endeavour to keep these to a minimum.

We will of course keep you updated of the progress on the Hilltops Website on a regular basis.

Please note that the Front doors of the Reception area will be closed from the 2^nd October, until the middle of November, this is due to the area being revamped.

If you are confined to a wheelchair please inform the receptionist when you are booking an appointment. Please note we only have one entrance and that is around the side of the building; right hand side as you face the surgery.

Repeat prescription requests can still be handed in, but it may be easier for you at this time to have it collected by one of the Pharmacies, but you must inform them directly if you wish them to collect on your behalf;

Rainbow Tow Mile Ash, Jardines Shenley, Boots CMK.

Alternatively if you would like to post it to us with a stamped addressed envelope we will post it back to you.

We are also running our Flu clinics on Saturday 18^th October & 8^th November 9-1pm, Please book your appointment with a receptionist.

Baby Clinic:

Please note that this clinic will be run from Two-Mile Ash Pre- School Annex, The High Street, Two-Mile Ash. This will run from 1.15 pm till 3pm, every Thursday from May 22^nd until further notice.

We have changed our Website provider and hope it is friendlier. If you incur any problems do not hesitate to contact us.

We apologize in advance for any disruption, please bear with us. It will be worth it in the long term when the project has been completed, as the new extension will provide improved facilities for all our patients.

Out of Hours
MKDOC (Milton Keynes Doctors On Call) is the provider for our out of hours. Please contact our normal telephone number, which will then advise you who to call. Telephone: 01908 568446

Appointments
The practice has a computerized appointment system based on 10 minute appointments. A third of appointments are pre-bookable up to 6 weeks in advance, a third are urgent appointments and a third are for booking on the day by telephoning at 8am and 2pm. Please note in particular, that Saturdays are for pre-booked appointments only.

Home Visits
Housebound patients and those too ill to attend the Medical Centre, may request a home visit by calling Telephone: 01908 568446.  You will be asked for brief details of the problem so the doctor can judge the urgency of the visit. Please attend the surgery if at all possible. Home visits are at the discretion of the doctor.
