Better, safer, quicker care for you

Better, safer, quicker care for you

A confidential electronic record sharing system, Share for Care, is being rolled out to improve health and care across Bedfordshire, Luton and Milton Keynes. Share for Care brings together your information from all the different organisations in our areas involved in your health and care into one electronic record.

There are currently two shared care records used by health and care organisations in Bedfordshire, Luton and Milton Keynes. Each allows health and care professionals involved in your care to access relevant information about you. We plan to connect these in Spring 2023 to complete the sharing across all our local health and care organisations.

We also plan to share your information, where relevant, with health and care providers outside Bedfordshire, Luton and Milton Keynes. Milton Keynes University NHS Trust is already sharing data with providers who are part of the London Care Record, including providers in Hertfordshire and West Essex.
